They are currently seeking a Product Specialist to join an established team in a national role promoting a world leadingbrand in the Vascular and Endovascular market. You will have a strongClinical focus with a large proportion of time spent in theatre setting, while developing and supporting strong procurement and clinical relationships. The ideal candidate will be based in Leinster & work a national role that has strong focus on the Dublin & Galway hospitals in particular.

As a product specialist you will provide procedural and product expertise to targeted customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) through field travel, meeting attendance, educational seminars and deliver education to healthcare personnel on product applications and benefits.

The main objective will be to manage all aspects of business in the field to achieve sales targets and objectives by maintaining existing business and generating new business on territory.

Role/ Responsibilities:

  • Generate profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets through a combination of appropriate activities with existing and potential customers
  • Attain required objectives designed to influence fiscal revenue, market share and profitability.
  • Actively gather market intelligence on our own and competitor portfolio / activities.
  • Establish strong working relationships with a range of senior health professionals
  • Develop expert knowledge of the product range and a sound understanding of the associated medical disciplines
  • Provide technical training and support to Clinicians on the use of the medical devices as required.
  • Assist in product evaluations and clinical studies as appropriate.
  • Explore new customers, market potential and business opportunities
  • Prioritise objectives and schedule work to make best use of time and resources
  • Work closely and effectively with the other members of the sales team and with support functions to provide the best possible service to the customer and the patient.
  • Participate in trade shows, training and marketing activities
  • Develop and maintain customer database and equipment install base
  • Create a positive impact and convey confidence and credibility to others.
  • Have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with others.
  • Establish and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships.
  • Make decisions and taking responsibility.
  • Have the ability to produce results, prioritizing objectives and scheduling work to make best use of time and resources.

  • Possess a high degree of motivation.
Education/Experience:
  • Scientific /Healthcare degree - Must have strong clinical experience, preferably in theatre.
  • Display experience in a clinical setting, with previous experience in medical sales (desirable)
  • Show a flexible approach to work and be able to enthusiastically embrace change and new challenges within a high growth company
  • Display a flexible and enthusiastic mindset
  • Travel frequently throughout assigned territory and assist in other territories as required
  • Have a good working knowledge ofMicrosoft® Office
  • Hold a full clean driving license
