A leading global healthcare manufacturer is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join its Sligo facility on the evening shift. This role is ideal for an experienced people manager with a background in regulated manufacturing who thrives on driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations & Supply Chain Senior Manager, you will lead production teams across moulding, extrusion, assembly, and warehouse operations. You’ll ensure high standards of performance, compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support production teams to meet performance, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, addressing issues, optimising line performance, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to GMP, quality procedures, and safety standards.
  • Manage time, attendance, and development of team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Promote continuous improvement, change management, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with planning and management to support scheduling, validation, process optimisation, and capital projects.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring zero-accident standards and full EHS compliance.
About You
  • Relevant third-level qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a GMP/regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven people management skills with ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexible, proactive, and innovative approach to work.
