Senior Balloon Engineer /Project Manager

Our client an innovative Irish company currently seeks a Senior Engineer to be responsible for driving the design and development of balloon systems in support of existing business and to develop new product opportunities. The successful candidate will be accountable for leading medical device design and development programs by multi disciplined project teams. As a technical specialist, candidate will be required to develop plans and criteria for medical device development projects.


Roles/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing new balloon concepts.
• Developing verification test techniques.
• Supporting prototype fabrication and testing
• Developing product demonstrations
• Responsible for presenting product and product features to clinicians.
• Presenting project opportunities and progress of senior management

Skill/Experience
• BS in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in the design and development, and design for manufacturability, of medical devices Experience with CAD
• Experience performing engineering analysis, designing experiments, test method development, creating and managing project plans and performing statistical analysis
• Experience working with quality, regulatory and clinical standards including medical device design control requirements is required.
• In addition to technical expertise, this position requires a high level of people skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to proactively interact with vendors, management, manufacturing plants and technical staff is required.
