Our client, one of the largest multinational companies based in Galway is recruiting for Training Coordinator. The successful candidate will manage the site training process, support implementation of the site training framework and track site training metrics.
·Support in the development of appropriate training curricula and support the development of technical training content.
·Partner with department managers to identify and engage training coordinators and SME’s to support alignment and achievement of training goals.
·Partner with site leadership to identify training needs at a site level including leveraging data from individual development plans.
·Responsible for overseeing the site induction programme and the on-boarding of new employees.
·Oversee and monitor the effectiveness of all external training courses/ programmes.
·Work strategically with other functions e.g. production/ quality to identify training opportunities which will sustain or enhance operational results.
·Recommend and implement continuous improvements in the induction and training process, use best practice and support the application of new systems/ technologies in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
·Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Science or Engineering related discipline and 5-8 years relevant experience within a pharmaceutical/ medical device company with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a training coordinator type role.
·A formal qualification in education/ training would be highly desirable but is not essential.
·Must possess knowledge of industry best practice and standards in relation to training within the medical device/ pharmaceutical industry.
·Working knowledge of cGMP requirements and understanding of the complexities of working within a highly regulated environment.
