Graduate Document Controller / Administration Assistant
Excellent opportunity for a Biomedical graduate to obtain experience in a document control setting with a medical device regulatory body.The medical devices department is responsible for CE marking medical devices for the European market and auditing medical device manufacturers. The role is minimum 3 month contract, with the possibility of being extended further. Candidates who have an interest in auditing, regulation, quality, and technical review are encouraged to apply to the role.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Collection and transcription of data from one document to another
Liaise with personnel in relation to the data that is to be transcribed to ensure accuracy of transcription
Notify personnel of the completion of individual transcriptions
May be expected to undertake other tasks associated with the department
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administration related role
Degree in Biomedical Engineering OR Medical Devices Diploma OR related field.
Familiarity with the medical device industry, i.e. having had a placement or work experience in a medical device company.
Typing Training, (as the role will entail a large amount of typing).
High level of computer literacy including comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
High level of attention to detail
Excellent verbal/written communication skills including strong interpersonal skills.
Capable of working independently with limited supervision
Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and ability to use own initiative.
Flexible, co-operative and adaptable to meet the changing requirements of the role.
Clear understanding of the confidential nature of the role and responsibility associated with the position.
